Senergy® Alpha Base Coat

Senergy® Alpha Base Coat is a 100% acrylic adhesive and base coat designed for use with Senergy EIFS, stucco, masonry, and concrete applications. It is field-mixed with Type I or II Portland cement to create a smooth, creamy mixture that is easy to apply and provides long-lasting performance.

Uses:

  • As an adhesive for EPS foam insulation boards

  • As a base coat for embedding reinforcing mesh

  • As a skim coat over masonry and concrete (above grade)

Coverage Per 5-Gallon Pail:

  • Adhesive (Notch Trowel): up to 160 sq. ft.

  • Mesh Embedment:

    • Flexguard 4: up to 280 sq. ft.

    • Intermediate mesh: up to 200 sq. ft.

    • Ultra Hi 20 mesh: up to 120 sq. ft.

    • Adhesive + Embedment: up to 120 sq. ft.

Packaging: 60 lbs. per 5-gallon pail
Shelf Life: 2 years (when properly stored)
Color: Off-white before adding cement
